Christian motifs form a significant and distinctive part of Miloslav Troup’s work, especially in the context of his involvement in applied art. At a time when sacred art was not socially supported, Troup actively contributed to the decoration of churches — designing stained‑glass windows for sanctuaries in Prague, Olomouc, Pitín, Ostrava, Martin, and Čestice near Volyně.
His work in sacred spaces is characterized by deep respect for spiritual content, combined with a modern artistic language that connects tradition with his distinctive use of colour and composition. Troup succeeded in bringing freshness and artistic refinement to Christian themes without disrupting their sacred character.
